Paonia is a small agricultural town located on the “Western Slope” of Colorado, at the foot of the West Elk Mountains. The town is the epicenter of a growing farm-to-table culture and artists’ community. We embrace the diversity of this historic mining and farming community. Paonia is not a typical mountain ski town, but provides close access to skiing, rafting, mountain biking, hunting and fishing. We are 3 hours from Moab and 4 hours from Denver. The ideal candidate will have a love for the rural life, with interests in local food, wine and beer, the arts, mountains and rivers, and sustainability. This is Paradise!
